Twinings Case Study

Office Principles has recently completed an office fit-out for Twinings, the best of British tea! Because their office consisted of both residential workers and staff who actively move around, they needed an office interior design that would kindle a natural flow of communication. Twinings told us that their staff were having trouble interacting with one another, which negatively impacted their business productivity.

Our goal was to create a workplace that facilitated high performance and allowed for a more engaged and connected workforce. In order to help the teams collaborate, Office Principles introduced Twinings to the benefits of removing allocated desking and demonstrated how this would encourage staff to move around the office.

We implemented a range of different working areas including hi-back sofas, small meeting pods and bar height tables to bring flexibility into their working environment and to stimulate better communication between staff. Twinings were focused on re-energising the staff and brining enthusiasm back into the office. They instructed us to create a workplace design that was energetic and vibrant. To do this, we used a range of colourful carpets and fabrics; we also included a picnic area right in the middle of the office complete with grass and a picnic bench! Check out the office fit-out below. If you need advice on office fit-out please contact us and one of our consultants will be happy to help.
