Cycling for The Rainbow Trust

During 2017, Office Principles are supporting our charity of choice, The Rainbow Trust.

Steve Cooper, one of our Workplace Designers, has decided to cycle 100 miles in support of The Rainbow Trust.  Steve is doing the 2017 Prudential RideLondon – Surrey 100.  The event celebrates the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100 mile route on closed roads through the Capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.  With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved.  The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London, shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on a similar route.

Steve would like to raise £600.00 for The Rainbow Trust.  Please support Steve by donating via his Fundraising page.  You can visit his fundraising page by clicking here.

The Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child with life threatening or terminal illness and are in the greatest need.  Today there are an estimated 49,000 children and young people in the UK living with life limiting or life threatening conditions who may require palliative care.  Many of these children and their families can cope or are not in a ‘crisis situation’.  However, thousands of families have to face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day to day basis.  The Rainbow Trust provides emotional and practical support for these families by offering the whole family support  24/7 regardless of diagnosis and for as long as it is needed.
