During 2018, Office Principles have committed themselves to continue to support the Rainbow Trust.
To help raise funds for the Rainbow Trust, Steve Cooper, Technical Designer at Office Principles has committed to undertake the London to Brighton Bike Ride. It is a mass-participation cycle ride covering the 54 miles from South London to Madeira Drive on Brighton sea front.
It is just under 6 weeks until the big day. Steve said that ‘the toughest bit is going to be Ditchling Beacon with nearly a mile at an average of 9% gradient. In some places it is 16%!’.
If you would like to support Steve Cooper in his efforts to raise funds for the Rainbow Trust then visit his Just Giving page to make a donation. He has a target of £1,000 so your help in raising this amount will be greatly appreciated.
The Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child with life threatening or terminal illness and are in the greatest need. Today there are an estimated 49,000 children and young people in the UK living with life limiting or life threatening conditions who may require palliative care. Many of these children and their families can cope or are not in a ‘crisis situation’. However, thousands of families have to face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day to day basis. The Rainbow Trust provides emotional and practical support for these families by offering the whole family support 24/7 regardless of diagnosis and for as long as it is needed.
Earlier this year, Office Principles pledged to support The Rainbow Trust. When we asked our staff which charity they wanted to support in 2017, The Rainbow Trust was a clear favourite as it has touched the hearts of several colleagues at Office Principles.
