When Exterion Media’s lease expired on its London office, it turned to Office Principles to design and fit-out its new Holborn office to accommodate 300 employees. The speed and efficiency of the project enabled Exterion Media to move out of its old premises ahead of schedule and embrace agile working practices in its new space: supporting its strategy to become a digital business.
Exterion Media is the largest privately-owned Out of Home advertising company in Europe and the largest transport media owner in the UK. Its clients’ advertisements adorn London buses and the trains and stations of London Underground: Manchester Piccadilly station and Metrolink and the Glasgow Subway.
When its London office lease came up for renewal, Exterion Media took the opportunity to move to a new state of the art office where it could introduce new agile working practices. A new lease was signed at Lacon House in Holborn, in the heart of London’s media land, leaving just six months to design and fit-out the new office. Office Principles was selected on its ability to create an agile office space that would allow Exterion Media employees to work wherever they would be most productive.
“Office Principles really listened to what we had to say and clearly understood our brief and what we were trying to achieve. They delivered a nigh on perfect design concept,” comments Karen Gilbert, Head of Facilities at Exterion Media.
