Earlier this year, Office Principles pledged to support The Rainbow Trust. When we asked our staff which charity they wanted to support in 2017, The Rainbow Trust was a clear favourite as it has touched the hearts of several colleagues at Office Principles.
The Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child with life threatening or terminal illness and are in the greatest need. Today there are an estimated 49,000 children and young people in the UK living with life limiting or life threatening conditions who may require palliative care. Many of these children and their families can cope or are not in a ‘crisis situation’. However, thousands of families have to face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day to day basis. The Rainbow Trust provides emotional and practical support for these families by offering the whole family support 24/7 regardless of diagnosis and for as long as it is needed.
This month both Gemma Zommerfield and Jo Jenkinson have decided to run the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on the 8th October 2017. This stunning central London half marathon, takes in the capitals’ world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Gemma Zommerfield works in the finance department at Office Principles, and is responsible to ensure that the financial side of the business runs like clockwork. Jo Jenkinson is one of our creative designers at Office Principles, and is responsible for creating stunning office designs for our client’s offices.
Jo and Gemma are looking to raise £700.00 for The Rainbow Trust by running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon. You can support them by donating via the Virgin Money Giving website on the link below.
