The ideal person for a role like this will be a highly accomplished Graphic Designer, used to taking briefs and working to deadlines, producing high quality and precise collateral.

The ability to use your own initiative is a must to be able to embellish a brief to achieve the highest standard of work that not only meets the guidelines set out but also maximises the impact of the message being conveyed.

Role & responsibilities

Manage the production of bid documents from concept to completion; coordinating all activity, monitoring progress and ensuring deadlines are met.

Work with Brand & Marketing Manager review and proof all pitch documents before sign-off for client delivery.

Researching and developing new ways of working and pitch/presentation concepts.

Produce proposal graphics for use both in electronic and hard copy materials.

Work with Brand & Marketing Manager to maintain and update company templates.

Multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced environment including the coordination and production of multiple bid documents at any one time.

Ability to work in a deadline driven environment without compromising artistic creativity and attention to detail.

Translate creative thinking into imagery and copy that retains and clearly expresses the initial ideas.

Work comfortably both as part of a team and individually.

Understand and solve graphic design-orientated problems.

Clearly visualise and understand target audiences and create materials that will appeal to them.

Keep creative elements under control to deliver them on brief, on time and on budget, often to tight deadlines.

Brief and collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, inside and outside of your own organisation, including professionals, clients, and staff.

Skills & qualifications

A degree in a marketing, creative, or artistic discipline.

Experience in bid coordination within the fast paced construction industry would be preferable.

Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite, in particular: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Experience in using Premier Pro and After Effects would desirable.

3 years working experience in marketing, brand, graphic design role.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office, in particular: PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Experience in website design would be preferable.

Passion for working with the latest technology, including image generation tools and narrative for presentations.
