Office Principles North is helping to raise awareness of welfare and wellbeing in the construction sector at a special event in Birmingham city centre today (Tuesday 19th September 2023).
The firm is hosting Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity at Eleven Brindleyplace, a 110,000 sq ft Grade A office building in Birmingham city centre.
Part of the charity’s national Me It Visible campaign, the event will highlight the help and support available to construction workers and their families, covering areas including emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. It will also promote the availability of online resources and a 24/7 helpline.
In the region of 100 construction workers are expected to attend the event, including representatives from Office Principles North and its supply chain partners.
Information will also be available to members of the general public via the charity’s outreach team, with a roadshow vehicle stationed on site.

Office Principles is a long standing supporter of Lighthouse and completed a sponsored walk to the summit of Snowden in December 2022 to raise vital funds for the charity.
Office Principles North is currently upgrading 12,000 sq ft of space on the basement and ground floor of Eleven Brindleyplace on behalf of landlord, Blue Noble. The project will deliver high quality breakout and meeting spaces, including a new business lounge, and is expected to be complete by the end of October 2023.

We know that anyone can be affected by mental health problems. This event is hugely important in highlighting the help and support that’s available to people, whether they are suffering physically, emotionally or perhaps have anxiety around their personal finances. “We identified Lighthouse some time ago as a charity that we really wanted to support. It does an incredible job on behalf of construction sector workers and their families and very much aligns with our values. We’re only too happy to work together to host this event at Eleven Brindleyplace.
