Office Principles North has been chosen to deliver the £4.5 million refurbishment of the former IBM campus in Warwick.
The leading interior design consultancy will carry out a CAT A programme of works at the Building 2 development on Haywood Park, on behalf of landlord, FI Real Estate Management (FIREM).
The scheme, which will be rebranded to become The Woods, will provide office space at a variety of sizes, including the provision of coworking space for freelancers, small businesses and those looking for satellite offices.
It will include a high-end reception, a new cafe and external landscaping.
More than half of the project has been pre-let, with the remaining space attracting interest from the healthcare and medical sectors and creative industries.
Tina Batham, joint managing director of Office Principles North, said:
We’re very pleased to be working with FIREM to deliver this exciting landlord refurbishment. The Woods has been carefully designed to cater to the changing needs of West Midlands businesses and will offer outstanding facilities in a popular and established location.
A spokesperson for FI Real Estate Management said:
The Woods, our newly branded development in Warwick, is an exceptional office space and we have been very excited about its refurbishment this year. We have been working closely with Office Principles to develop designs that will transform the space into vibrant offices with a contemporary look and feel. The development's location and the size of space available have already drawn major interest from the West Midlands and beyond. With the refurbishment now underway, we are significantly elevating our offer, bringing fresh and invigorating space to the market in Warwick
