Global technology provider, Insight Enterprises Inc. is a Fortune 500 company with offices in around 20 countries worldwide.

Due to such burgeoning success, branch company, Insight Direct (UK) recently opened a new office in Salford Quays, Manchester.

Having already worked with Office Principles for more than a decade on European and UK-based projects, Insight Direct asked us to join the project team that would transform its Manchester base.

A smooth, purple-finished haven, this is a mature, flexible office space which suits the venerable reputation of a world-leading IT, hardware, software and service solutions firm.

Established in Arizona 34 years ago, Insight Enterprises Inc. began as a venture between two college students and has burst into a worldwide, business-to-business technology company.

The firm now has a multitude of branches across Europe and the UK.

Office Principles has delivered a collaborative, CAT B fit out on the fifth floor of Grade A office building, Metro.

Ideally positioned in central Manchester, Insight Direct’s latest workspace provides the tech giant with a blend of alternative work environments, set within a complex that aims to reduce its carbon emissions.

The 10,000 sq ft space was meticulously designed and furnished in collaboration with Maze Workplace and completed within five weeks.

Clean, streamlined and easy to navigate, the new workplace is the latest project delivered on behalf of Insight Direct, following fit out of its Uxbridge office.

The new workspace provides a series of contrasting work settings, including meeting spaces, a select amount of offices, board room, spacious games room and kitchen breakout space.

Positive brand messaging adorn the mauve-tinted walls; the word ‘everyone’ displayed in different languages, demonstrating the international reach of Insight Enterprises Inc.

This contemporary workplace enhances coworking experiences and maximises the functionality of its divided areas, to more than meet the needs of its inhabitants.

Its always hugely satisfying to deliver a successful project on behalf of a long-term client. Weve enjoyed a lasting relationship with Insight Direct that spans many years and have developed an intrinsic understanding of what it wants to achieve. Having delivered a similar project in Uxbridge, it was a case of working in collaboration to apply many of the same principles within a smaller configuration. The new workplace is an agile and impressive space that lends itself to flexible ways of working.
