GE Capital required a new office for their headquarters in Manchester. After finding 56,000 sq ft of office space at Dovecote House in Sale, they approached Office Principles to carry out the design and build elements.
The whole office fit out covered 3 floors and included a stunning reception area, meeting suite, open plan desking, collaboration zones, and a large cafe. This whole project took over 4 months to complete.
The design team at Office Principles started work on the reception area, where they created light open space with GE branding and messaging displayed on large areas of wall graphic. Within each of the floors, multifunctional spaces were created to help bring people together. The new cafe was designed to have a coffee shop feel, with historic maps being used on the walls to give a sense of personality.
GE Capital provides finance to almost 40,000 UK businesses and enables their customers to efficiently and successfully run and manage their operations. This stunning new working environment will empower GE Capitals people to better support these businesses every day.
