OP delivered both CAT A and CAT B elements of the refurbishment, working in partnership with RSM to create a unique space that stands apart from other floors in the building. OP has completed the transformation of leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK's Nottingham office, delivering a modern and flexible workspace that maximises efficiency and supports hybrid working patterns.
OP reimagined 7,800 sq ft of space on the second floor of 2 Tollhouse Hill, following a comprehensive 12-week design and fit out programme.
The project sees RSM consolidate its Nottingham operations from a 12,500 sq ft seventh floor workspace into a more efficient and dynamic environment that better serves the firm's evolving workplace strategy.
A standout feature of the workspace is the new Heart space, which welcomes visitors and staff with a versatile client lounge and collaborative area. This multi-functional zone incorporates high and low-level seating and can be transformed into an all-hands presentation space for town hall meetings. A striking linear lighting feature runs throughout, adding visual interest and continuity to the design.
The project achieved SKA Gold certification, demonstrating RSM's commitment to sustainable workplace design. Technical innovations include the installation of secondary glazing to enhance thermal performance, whilst exposed ceilings throughout maximise height and create a contemporary aesthetic that works in harmony with the building's architecture.

The completion of RSM's Nottingham office continues OP's successful delivery of workplace projects for the firm.
Our new office space has been carefully designed to take into account the new hybrid way of working and will provide our teams with plenty of opportunities to engage, collaborate and grow. This is RSM’s first office that has an urban feel to it with a fully open industrial ceiling, a feature recommended by OP, and we have received great feedback both internally and externally. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project with the OP team, who have been professional and fully committed from start to finish in delivering the exceptional design agreed at the outset.
