3 Squared is an existing tenant of city centre offices, Fountain Precinct. The digital solutions provider wanted to relocate to a bigger office inside the landmark building and had secured space on the third floor.
Office Principles was already working closely with long-term client and investor of Fountain Precinct, Aegon on the CAT A fit out of the building.
We presented designs to suit 3 Squareds budget, along with a plan that would enable us to combine the CAT A and CAT B work as a single programme, which would impact positively on resource and funding.
Work comprised of the sub-division of existing large meeting rooms to create new meeting rooms, with bi-folding walls and glass partitions; the installation of a tea point, with LED lighting around the top and plinths; flooring alterations and the fitting of feature flooring; redecoration throughout, including feature walls, bespoke joinery to the client lounge and the provision of a bespoke work bench and other key items of furniture.
A suspended ceiling was installed in each of the meeting rooms. The rest of the space was open-plan with exposed services.
The client lounge was designed to stand out, providing a bigger space than an average reception and an alternative area to confer, work and relax.
The overall office fit out was based on Office Principles’ original design, using some of the client’s sourced materials as a measure to keep costs down and in consideration of budget constraints.
Thanks to the longevity of our relationship with the landlord and the work we were already undertaking on the building, 3 Squared could be confident in our skill-set and professionalism. We were quick to reassure them of our sensitivity to budget demands and were happy to work with them to ensure that the budget was met without any compromise to the design.
