OP's office interior design approach reimagines Techspace Shoreditch from within, reworking the building as it stands while maximising its existing architectural features and celebrating its authenticity. Central to the concept is a new identity rooted in the building's industrial character, implementing Techspace's distinctive design language expressed through exposed brickwork and raw industrial materials throughout, most notably in the striking new café space.
The ground floor is being significantly reconfigured. The entrance is being relocated to replace the previous narrow, dark arrival with one that is larger, lighter and more open, with better accessibility, including to the lift. A reduced event space, The Loading Bay, still seating around 50 people, has released room for a new double-height café and for additional ground floor workspace created by removing the old basement stairs. The basement meeting suite, toilets and tea points are also being fully refurbished.
