Anglian Water undertook an in-situ office refurbishment of their Huntingdon office. They wanted to reconfigure the current executive suite to make it more accessible for all members of staff, whilst retaining the board room and other larger meeting rooms, two / three smaller bookable meeting rooms and they also wanted to create hot offices for ad-hoc working and meetings.
Anglian Water wanted a more agile working arrangement with a mix of open plan seating/workstations, along with spaces for team working, drop-in spaces and one to one meetings. The new open plan flow into and around their reception area allowed for appropriate levels of security to be retained, whilst allowing more natural light to infiltrate into the space.
Consideration was also given to the existing restaurant, as Office Principles extended this area creating a larger dining area to incorporate ouch down and booth seating, with the potential for larger own hall style meetings to take place.
Anglian Water has an occupational health team that provides physiotherapy to employees. During the refurbishment we had to ensure that this had no down time which would have impacted on appointments for staff.
Office Principles fully transformed Anglian Waters Huntingdon office. We created a visitor experience in reception that allowed visitors to sit in a light, bright and comfortable space to enjoy a coffee. We also created a Tech Bar for staff to drop into for IT updates, new equipment and app-based lunch and learns.
