We've helped leading cyber security and networking distributor Infinigate to create an engaging, flexible new headquarters that will connect its high-performance teams. The new workplace reflects Infinigate's dynamic new branding and company values, showcasing a fresh, people-oriented organisation that is technically excellent.

With a spacious hub for meetings, learning, socialising and events, alongside dedicated focus spaces and collaborative areas, the workspace has been specially designed to support new hybrid ways of working.

Infinigate is a leading, pan-EMEA distributor, specialising in total cybersecurity solutions and services.

Following its acquisition by a larger company, Infinigate had an opportunity to relocate its UK headquarters to a more suitable space within the same business park.

The key driver was to downsize to 5,600 sq ft in order to create efficiencies in a post-Covid working environment, while delivering a workplace that aligned with Infinigate's new branding.

We worked closely with Infinigate's leadership team from the outset, undertaking a thorough office design consultation to help them make informed decisions about their new space. This included a site visit, surveys, financial forecasting, milestone programming, test fit layouts and CGI visualisations.

Crucially, we engaged in in-depth workplace consultations across the business to understand the specific requirements and concerns of each department in relation to downsizing. These insights shaped a creative layout that would encourage team interaction, manage noise levels and incorporate ample breakout spaces alongside focused work settings.

Infinigate's people were actively involved throughout the design journey, from tactile product workshops to office furniture tours and technical drawing reviews. This ensured everyone felt heard and invested in the project.

The result is a workspace that embodies Infinigate's energy and reflects the way its people want to work.

The ground floor has been transformed into a vibrant hub for meetings, learning, socialising and events. This spacious communal area will be the beating heart of the office, allowing Infinigate's teams to come together and collaborate in a multifunctional environment.

A key feature is the inviting breakout space, thoughtfully designed to encourage those valuable moments of interaction and connection between colleagues.

By contrast, the first floor is a dedicated zone for focused work, with pockets of co-working areas integrated to promote teamwork. Careful space planning ensures teams have the right balance of quiet spaces for concentration and more open settings for collaboration, addressing previous challenges around noise transfer.

The office showcases Infinigate's striking new branding throughout, bringing the organisation's distinct personality into the space. Vibrant colours, graphics and other branded elements reinforce a sense of identity and belonging.

Infinigate's commitment to sustainability has also been factored into the project. Existing furniture has been reused where possible to minimise waste. During our audit, we identified that the current carpet tiles could be retained, while discreetly installing new floor boxes and power distribution beneath the raised access flooring.

Any furniture no longer required due to the reduced footprint has been rehomed across Infinigate's wider UK office estate. Meanwhile, new energy-efficient lighting and electric vehicle charging points have been added to boost the building's green credentials.

Our team worked proactively with Infinigate to support their conversations with the landlord, ensuring they secured the best possible terms for their new lease.
